Looks House of Beauty: Interview with the architect

The Looks House of Beauty project in Lithuania made the most of the Unique Marble collection by Provenza.
The Išmanus interjeras design firm designed this wonderful beauty salon by creating an ambience that conveys peace and serenity and managed to bring out the inspiration of the collection to the full.
Thanks to these characteristics, the project won the Inspiration category of the Emilgroup Project Awards 2023. At the award ceremony, we interviewed Arch. Ainė Janušienė.

How does it feel to have been awarded among hundreds of architecture and interior design projects?

We are very happy that our project was recognised on the international market and was considered worthy of an award of this importance. This inspires us and will inspire us in the future to design even more beautiful and inspiring interiors.

What led you to select our collections for your project?

We chose the Unique Marble collection because it reminds us of the sea, with protruding marble cliffs, and this influenced us in creating the exceptional interiors for this beauty salon.

What did you most appreciate about our collections?

We particularly appreciate the quality of the tiles your group produces. In particular, the prints are of such a high standard that they really look like natural rocks. We also really appreciate the work of your designers in creating such collections, which inspires us to design surreal interiors, something we plan to continue doing in the future.

How do you see the use of ceramics in future interior design?

I believe that in the future interior design will move towards warm tones and natural stone surfaces. We therefore hope that your collections also reflect the natural textures, surfaces and colour range of stone.
