Holy Name of Jesus Cathedral

The Ergon and Provenza brands were selected for the project

In Raleigh, a city in North Carolina, the O’Brien & Keane firm has designed and built a new church that welcomes the faithful of the Catholic community and hosts numerous liturgical celebrations and diocese events.

The Emilgroup collections selected by the designers made it possible to aesthetically enhance the architectural structure, while respecting the requirement for high technical standards. The project fully expresses the effect of natural materials applied to ceramic surfaces. Two collections were chosen for the restyling: Back2Back by Ergon and Q-Stone by Provenza used in the 60x120, 60x60 and 30x30 cm sizes. The Back2Back collection satisfies the project criteria with its interpretation of three different types of natural stone, giving the interior a natural, simple look and making the decor a characteristic element of the space. The design of the Back2Back collection thus offers timeless sophistication Q-Stone by Provenza meets the needs of the ecclesiastical customer with elegance, beauty and practicality, featuring three colours in grey and beige shades that make it possible to create light effects on the tiles. Not only does the Q-Stone collection have a great stylistic impact, but it also features high technical performance, offering bending strength and resistance to frost and chemicals.
