Hotel Marina-Port: Nature and design in perfect harmony

Standing on the shores of Lake Balaton, in Hungary, the Hotel Marina-Port is a place of serenity, where natural beauty merges with innovative design. The project, by the este’r partners architecture firm, is a perfect example of modern architecture’s ability to blend harmoniously into the surrounding environment.
The entire hotel complex overlooks the lake, and in view of this prime location the architects chose to highlight the bond with nature and create organic, inviting interiors. The floor of the hotel’s lobby, 421 m² in area, was covered throughout with the Emilgroup collections, generating a natural, comfortable mood in which architectural spaces and materials are seamlessly integrated.
The tiles of the Landscape by Emilceramica collection in Sabbia colour and 80x80 cm size cover the lobby with their warm, welcoming shades, which evoke the hues of the nearby sand and the surrounding landscape. The bathrooms, on the other hand, were finished using Sixty by Emilceramica tiles in Sabbia shade in 80x80 cm and 5x15 cm sizes; their simple, refined design enhances the elegant yet natural ambience.
Hotel Marina-Port is a perfect example design’s ability to become a complete sensory experience, where every detail is conceived to celebrate the beauty of the location and the link with nature. A place where the art of architecture and quality materials come together to create a unique, timeless atmosphere.
