The project required a linear design to ensure that all the rooms overlook both the golf course and the surrounding mountains. The building had to allow customers to feel immersed in the natural environment. To satisfy the project’s aesthetic requirements, the Bolivar A. firm selected the Opus module from the Q-Stone by Provenza collection in the natural Grey colour, playing with a combination of warm and cold shades to give the space a completely natural image. The tiles in the Q-Stone collection were laid in two different areas of the complex and around 1,208 sq m of the façade was covered, lending it a quartzite effect with a jagged shape. In the 30x60 cm size, tiles were laid in the terrace areas, swimming pool and – in the mosaic version – on the bathroom walls. The clear geological inspiration of the Q-Stone collection’s quartzite effect contributed to the Herradura club’s success in the 2020 Ceramics of Italy Tile Competition, where it won an award in the residential category.
